Urban is a term that we are using pretty loosely for Tri-Cities session locations, but the basic idea is utilizing buildings and architecture as a neutral backdrop for a session. You can plan on concrete, strong lines, and bright accent colors in the urban category.

We have a few rivers in the area that make a great backdrop for photo sessions!

If you like the idea of the beauty of nature, a session utilizing fresh spring/summer greenery and blooms would be a great fit! Local parks work great!
You might also consider connections you have to private farmland, vineyards, orchards, or neighborhood parks.
Especially for family and newborn sessions, I love meeting my clients in their homes to capture moments and memories in their space.
Please note, in home sessions will not be scheduled during the covid pandemic.
I love incorporating the beautiful desert landscape and sunset into client sessions. And around here, there are a lot of options for open spaces, sage brush, and Pacific Northwest sunsets.
