It was a BEAUTIFUL day for Kristen and Chad as we celebrated their wedding day in Sunnyside Washington! He’s from Iowa, she’s from Washington, and it was so fun to see friends and family from near and far join them. Our favorite kind of wedding to photograph is a JOY filled wedding, and this was definitely one of those! From the time I walked in and chatted with Kristen and the Bridesmaids to the horse drawn carriage send off, the day was packed with smiles, genuine celebration, and so much excitement for the day and the marriage to follow!

We started off the day with Kristen and the bridesmaids as they had their hair and makeup done, stopped to take in a few of Kristen’s details, and then jumped into getting the bride into her GORGEOUS wedding gown! Chad had a few finishing getting ready touches with the help of his mom and then it was time to line them up for a first look! They chose the center aisle of Kristen’s church. We jumped into Bride and Groom picture mode and traveled to a nice field that Kristen had picked out because it overlooked the Sunnyside valley and showed off the area that she grew up beautifully! We stopped at another field and vineyard before heading off to a gorgeous residence to join the bridal party and family. The bridesmaids had the perfect flowing blush gowns to go along with the dapper groomsmen in navy tuxes. We love how classy and elegant they all looked! After bridal party and family, the couple had a beautiful ceremony in the church. It’s always such a blessing to witness the promises of marriage, congratulations Kristen and Chad!
