Rain AND shine, it was a beautiful day to celebrate Chelsey and Jesse! When we arrived at Gilbert Cellars winery, the venue and planner extraordinaire Jason were all in action setting up for a beautiful ceremony in the tasting room with a tent reception setup on the lawn. Photo time rolled around with the rain, but we were able to use the cellar doorway area for Chelsey and Jesse’s bride and groom photos and kept the bridal party mostly covered with the tasting room doors. The groomsmen all black suits and bridesmaids burnt orange velvet gowns are quite possibly my new favorite! Family photos and then it was ceremony time. The room was packed with friends and family! Jesse’s Godfather married the two in a Catholic ceremony with the a few traditional elements and then they were Mr and Mrs! They enjoyed a cocktail hour before guests took seats for dinner in the tent area. A few speeches, we love when speeches include good stories from the couples past. It was a good time all around followed by cake cutting and a sweet first dance for the couple and parent dances.
