Sunday, October 9 – a BEAUTIFUL day to get married 😀

We had a beautiful wedding celebration for Melinda & Devin at the Promise Gardens in Pasco Washington on a gorgeous and sunny autumn day! First off we oo’ed and aaaah’ed over the delightful details Melinda gathered for her day! Rings, Stationery that the talented bride created herself, floral arrangements, and sparkling jewelry, and of course a few show stopper shots of the dress hanging on the fun pink curtains. The ladies were finishing up makeup as we arrived and then launched into a champagne toast & the first of many dance parties. Melinda put on her gorgeous lace wedding gown, shoes, and jewelry, and then had a dear first look with mom and then dad.

First look for the bride and groom was sweet and heartfelt and the perfect launch into bride and groom photos. As you can see below, they rocked their pictures and I don’t think you could have wiped the smile from Melinda’s face if you tried! We did a round of bridal party portraits and family portraits to commemorate the special friends and family in the couple’s life and then hid them away as guests began to arrive for the ceremony.

The two were married under the gazebo and exchanged personal vows, rings, and ended with a kiss. A quick cocktail hour followed by a streamer grand entrance for the couple and welcoming the Mr. and Mrs. to the dance floor for their first dance on their wedding day! The reception kicked off with dinner, heartfelt speeches from parents and the bridal party, and cutting the cake. The couple mingled with the wonderful people they brought together to support them on their wedding day before sharing a special father daughter and mother son dance.

We closed out our time with the couple with a few (almost) sunset photos and loved their excitement joy and willingness for a good photo! Much love to the happy couple and enjoy their wedding blog!
