A Joyous Garden Wedding in Tri-Cities, Washington: Cecily & Caleb’s Celebration / Jordan Edens Photography

There was joy, there was fun, there were so many wonderful faces and helping hands involved. Cecily and Caleb were married on Saturday, August 9 in a lovely morning wedding in Tri-Cities Washington.

There’s something truly special about witnessing a wedding day unfold, almost like a quiet observer, as moments of joy and delight pop up throughout the day. Our day began with the final moments of preparations: a final touch of makeup, the wedding rings, a sweet first look, and so much excitement Cecily and family and bridesmaids spent the morning at Caleb’s parents’ home, while the groomsman prepared for the day across the street. The stunning backyard garden and charming sun room provided the perfect place for the couple’s formal portraits. Aside from a groomsman in the wrong color pants (hey Levi) the day went off without a hitch!

After capturing the bride and groom moments, we moved on to what we like to call photo tetris! Bridal party and family posed for a myriad of photos to commemorate the day and the special people involved in the day!

Off to the church we went and celebrate we did as Cecily and Caleb made vows, sang hymns, and were united in matrimony! Reverend Davis’ wedding ceremonies involve words from the couple written in ‘to my beloved’ letters and it’s always special to hear from the perspective of the bride and groom during their ceremony. Also shout out to the best man and groom’s brother Prescott and Groomswoman Xaris for the beautiful music! Following the wedding we snuck off for a few moments of MR and MRS photos before making a grand entrance into the longest guest tunnel! The couple jumped right into a first dance, lunch, and mingling with guests in a lovely reception at a private residence. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Davis!
