How it all started

The 509 Bride came about from my own experience as both a bride and photographer. From 2015-2016, I was living out of state, engaged, and diligently scouring the internet to find Tri-Cities vendors for my day. I couldn’t find a central Tri-Cities directory or an easily accessible means of finding vendors other than hours of searching on google. This reality added significant stress to my planning process.

Fast forward to October 2016–After wrapping up a successful Midwest photography business, I relocated to the Tri-Cities and began seeking out ways to establish my business in the local wedding market. I began making connections, and found that the Tri-Cities bridal market was plentiful–there was simply no central directory for vendors to join, and for brides to use as a guide.

Thus the inception of the 509 Bride. My mission is to use this platform to inspire and provide information for the Tri-Cities bride, and celebrate the opportunity that vendors have to serve local brides in a bigger and better way. The 509 Bride is fully operational with 123 vendor spaces filled, and a growing social media presence and following. I am excited to announce that an elevated vendor experience allowing for each vendor to showcase their best work on their very own vendor impression site has just been launched as well.
